SUPER LIGHT WEIGHT!   Save up to 6-1/2 pounds over the older OEM shocks & springs  -  That s huge 20% weight savings!

Cobra Mk-III's produced by Superformance® all take 12mm (.472") upper and lower shock mounting holes. Occasionally they are sometimes modified after they leave the factory to accept the more common 1/2" (.500") standard shocks and bolts. Please select which version you need before ordering.

Cobra Valley specifically designed and assembled this advanced tuned suspension system specifically for your Superformance® Mk-III and other Cobra's with similar type suspensions.  To guarantee a proper match, replace individual shocks ONLY with those supplied by Cobra Valley. This is very important optimum performance and handling!

We spent dozens of hours of bench, road and track time to come up with this tried and proven system. These particular shocks are valved and sprung for this particular weight, front to back bias and wheel base car and not intended to be used on anything other than a Cobra such as a Superformance® Mk-III.  Both the compression and rebound movement is controlled and adjusted by the external control knob in 12 incremental settings and an infinite range in between each of the 12 settings. This suspension system provides a firm ride yet still a much smoother than most others systems while still providing tight and responsive handling. It is the specific combination that makes them challenge the heavier springs without the stiffer ride. Just wait till you try them!

The spherical bearings on each end were designed to be direct replacements to fit the Superformance® 12mm shock bolts. If you wish to drill your mounts to 1/2" please specify that for the larger bearings. Be sure to lightly grease the carbon fiber bearing races and check them frequently for wear and condition.

Cobra Valley Exclusive! Complete with uniquely specific detailed instructions created only by us that virtually ANYONE to install!

While this complete shock absorber and spring suspension system was originally designed for the Superformance Mk-III Cobra, it may fit other Cobras with similar suspension designs using coil over shocks with either 11-1/2" to 12-1/2" shock center hole to center hole ride height, or a 12-1/2" to 13-1/2" ride height with 12mm or 1/2" mounting holes on cars with 50/50 or 40/60 front//back weight bias on cars weighing 2200-2800 pounds with a 90-98" wheel base. Please specify the car characteristics if your's isn't a Superformance Mk-III Cobra so we can fit your car with the absolute best suspension package possible!

the trunk above and beyond these standard items included, simply add 50 pounds of spring pressure required in the rear for every additional 100 pounds of extra cargo above and beyond what has been previously mentioned and compensated for in the chart.
