Use the 75w90 in most applications while taking advantage of the 80w140 for protection against the shock loading of sudden acceleration and the extreme towing and sustained high speed operation.

SAFE FOR USE IN DIFFERENTIALS WITH CLUTCHES

The special formulation found in EPL™ Gear Oil reduces the need to add "Friction Modifiers" for the purpose of  preventing chatter in clutch posi differentials. EPL™ allows your rear end work at peak performance and maximum efficiency. Chatter is a result of the "grab and release" action of the clutches where friction modifiers create a controlled slip, eliminating the chatter. EPL™ reduces chatter by making clutches grab tighter, not looser! If friction modifier is still desired, use only half of the normal recommendation.
