This particular suspension joint is located at the rear of the car at the upper-outer control arm to wheel upright connection point. This joint does not hold the vehicle up or carry any weight, but it does hold the top of the tire from tilting in or outward as well as needing to precisely maintain the rear caster alignment setting for handing, safety and proper tire wear.
