The inside of the cargo bed is lit up with three built in lamps controlled by a covered aircraft toggle switch on the left.
The gooseneck ball is shown raised, locked into position and ready for service. The spring loaded hook loops on either side securely fasten the safety chains to the frame under the bed.
The very clean bed appears as if it has never been used, and it hasn't except for a few tires and a couple of boxes here and there. The heavy bed mat keeps items from sliding and moving around, as well as protecting the surface from scuffs and scratches.
The gooseneck ball is hidden under the cap in the center until needed to be raised for use. The 30,000 pound hitch underneath has been reinforced to double that strength with 2" wide steel to reduce any flex making for a much smoother tow and feel.
Hidden gooseneck ball raises and lowers in the bed floor to be completely hidden and out of the way when not towing.
In addition to the bumper mounted trailer harness plug, an under rail bed plug is mounted for use when a gooseneck trailer is used. Below the plug is an RCA jack to plug in a rear view trailer camera. The in bed camera can be plugged in to guide the gooseneck trailer right over the bed mounted ball. This is all viewable on the dash mounted TV screen.
The round thing next to the electrical plug is where you store the cap that covers the gooseneck ball while towing for easy access when raising or lowering the hitch ball. No detail has been overlooked on this amazing vehicle!
