Testimonial From the Editor...
We ultimately decided to buy our first Superformance Mark-III after extensive research around the world. After looking at every Cobra and replica we could find, only one stood out head and shoulders above the rest. Now, that was only based on the design, quality, authenticity and fit and finish of the car. When it came to personal customer service, and people who just plain cared about the customer, the folks at Superformance absolutely pushed their advantage over the top!

We handle only the absolute best products at Performance Unlimited, and there was no question that Superformance fit perfectly into our goals. In fact, even after having the opportunity to have
an original Vintage car sitting in the garage, we moved up to a Superformance instead, which is what we drive as our own personal Car. Superformance is the best, and hardly the most expensive. What more could you ask for?

The Superformance has quite a loyal following, just ask any Superformance owner. They will have nothing but good to say about this simply amazing car. Here are some of their candid comments…

I have a Superformance with 460 & Tremec 5 speed 373 rear and really can say that it is a great car. I have had it up to 150 mph at Willow Springs Raceway and a week later drove it to work. Check the Cars for Sale on these forums and see about a used one. You probably won't lose much to depreciation if you are the 2nd owner.

I... have a Superformance #412, with a 428 Fe motor, Nascar Toploader 4-speed. I am very happy with Superformance's eye for detail and the overall quality of my car. I have had a major role in building an ERA Cobra, and not to take away from the Quality of an ERA, but I think that the Superformance is a better car. I did my own drivetrain install and it went very smoothly.

I have a Superformance with a 460 & Tremec tko 5 speed that is approx 6 weeks old. My 10 year old son & I picked it up in New Orleans & drove it back to Dallas the next day. I have made a round trip to Austin in it last month, & currently have about 1850 miles on it- & no problems. The car has also seen 150, but mostly stays around the speed limit. When you visit with the dealer in your area, I think you will get a real feel of what these cars are all about. I had the good luck to go out in the Superformance car that came in 4th in the One Lap of America when I picked up my car, & I can assure you that a stroked 351 has gobs of power & tons of torque. I think I would give this type of engine package serious consideration if I ever were to do this again... I don't think you can go wrong with a Superformance car... My car is #586

I have a Superformance with a 351W mated to a Tremec 5 speed. I've had it on the road since April and have put approximately 2200 miles on the car with no problems whatsoever. In my opinion, the quality of the car is superb, and as the saying goes, if I had to do it all over again, I'd do it all over again. Mine is SPF # 346.

I too have a Superformance and a grin that won't go away. Many miles and some trips to the track, and to date the only problem was a new Holley fuel pump, bad from the box. Quality is great, the ride is super and the car is a dream. There is a registry for Superformance's that will help document the history of the cars and provide the owners with helpful hints and lessoned learned, from other owners.

I've had my SPF (460/Tremec TKO) for about 2 weeks and have only been able to put on about 250 miles. I've got a grin on my face that no one can wipe off...  My SPF is #582...

I too have one and can't say anything bad about it... My car # is SP158 so you can see its one of the older ones and doesn't have the newer changes that have been made ie better seats a place for your left foot metal fire wall.

I also own a Superformance, #580, and can only echo all the sentiments from everyone above. I have the stroked 351w set-up and the power is nothing short of awesome!! I have about 1000 miles on my car so far, with not the first hint of a problem. Can't wait to see the new coupe! Can't go wrong with the Superformance....

Just a quick post to validate the previous comments... the Superformance product is great!! my recently completed SPF #506 runs a 351W with modifications & Tremec TKO and the combination is still being dialed in but so far is awsome!!!

... I have been researching the different manufacturers and I keep coming back to the Superformance. Periodically I will go out and try to find something a little cheaper but my research always leads me back to the Superformance... At this point the only thing that is clear is Superformance.

Just a little note. This morning I drove through the center of Orange County, Ca in my 460 Superformance to attend a car show at the John Force headquarters in Yorba Linda, Ca. Unfortunately, it was cancelled, however John Force was at the entrance to let folks know that it was not going to happen. (says a lot for the guy). I drove up and he had several nice comments on my car including the question, "is it real?" That really surprised me since he owns some type of reproduction... My wife and I drove back to a "biker's hangout" and had breakfast and again the car attracted more attention from the Harley types. The best part of the day was cruising down Coast Highway with the Big Block rumbling and the cool Pacific Ocean breezes reminding me of my '60s dream of having one of these cars...

Go Superformance. Someone above said if they had to do it all over again, they would do it again. I Did! After my friendly neighborhood mechanic test drove my SP 555 into a concrete light pole on 10/21/99, I ordered a new one... No changes. Also agree the 351 stroker is awesome engine. Had 2500 miles. fantastic.

I have had two Replicas now and my latest is a Superformance # 067. I bought it used from a friend and I have to say it is a great car. I like ERAs also, but the big difference is the price. You can get in a used Superformance from $ 38k to $ 42k depending on the engine. I have a SVO 351 Crate Motor with a Shelby Paxton (60s Style) supercharger on it pushing 7 lbs of boost. About all you could handle. The big block and 351 stroker is also great combinations. Suggest you go drive a few...

I chose an SPF and have put on over 2000 miles in all types of traffic and weather except snow and ice, in 21 days. Engine is a specially built 351W that leaves your fillings at the curb! It is a very good car, and I am very happy with it… my suggestion is that you have a representative or builder within a day's driving distance, because you will want to be spending some time with him!
