* Determine your spring length needed, below (see diagram below)

If your measurement for the spring is 3/4" (.750) or more then you need the "3/4 inch spring"
If your measurement for the spring
between 1/2" (.500) and under 3/4" (.750) then you need the "1/2 inch spring"

NOTE: You do not want the spring to be stretch much at all or it will be too much pressure on the cog wheel. In other words, "just barely a little stretch is just right". Too much stretch is not.
