These unique ball joints are specifically made for the front control arms for Superformance Cobras and any car that otherwise use this type of ball joint, and are an economical option to our famous R/T Ultra Smooth™ Geometry Correction ball joints.
R/T Stealth Magnum™ ball joints were designed to be a Performance, Heavy Duty ball joint capable for use in the rigors of racing, yet still look like "stock" appearing ball joint housings from the outside in order to slip under strict racing class rules or strict governmental vehicle laws which otherwise prohibit upgraded and improved Performance aftermarket suspension components. These do just that! And deserving of the name, STEALTH!
Unlike the R/T Ultra Smooth™ ball joints, these are not "geometry correction" and not "ultra smooth", however the R/T Stealth Magnum™ ball joints are direct replacement, low resistance and notably smoother than other over the counter joints, as well as being stronger, more reliable and longer lasting.
Unlike over the counter options, the R/T Stealth Magnum™ ball joints have a solid one piece high strength alloy steel stud and ball bearing similar to our R/T Ultra Smooth™ ball joints, (instead of the multi-piece half ball assemblies of common replacement joints). the R/T Stealth Magnum™ ball joints have thicker, stronger housings for durability, longevity & reliability.
Each R/T Stealth Magnum™ ball joint kit comes with rubber press on Ball Joint Boots to seal the ball joints properly from the elements & to hold the lubricant in, as well as all new installation hardware.
Use the Installation Socket to install the ball joints. DO NOT use an adjustable wrench or other non-specific tool. This very special socket fits these ball joints perfectly, as well as the OEM joint removal.
These are direct replacements joints for the Superformance® Mk-III, and also fit the lower position of the 289 Mk-II/FIA and CSX 4000-6000 cars.
