For Early chassis numbered Superformance® Cobras

The High Performance braided Stainless Steel Teflon lined brake hose kits for the front and rear has all the attachment hardware and fittings  supplied for the front Granda and rear Thunderbird calipers. The increased rigidity of the firm teflon lined Stainless Steel hoses virtually eliminates the swell of other hoses which increase brake pedal firmness and increases breaking pressure and performance.

Included are the correct length front and rear hoses, inner AN to brake line adapter couplers, frame clips, front and rear AN banjo fittings, banjo fitting bolts and copper and aluminum sealing crush washers. This kit also includes a very special custom machined front caliper adapter which is a direct bolt-in conversion, eliminating the previous caliper modifications, grinding and machining required to convert the front M14-1.50 thread (.550" O.D.) to AN brake hose.

Side Note: In some cases rebuilt or aftermarket Granada calipers may use an M10-1.00 threaded caliper  (.390" O.D.) or an M12-1.00 threaded caliper  (.470" O.D.)  which requires a different kit as indicated to the right.

Once this conversion kit is installed, from this point on S.S. replacement hoses are just a fraction of the cost! Everything else is now part of the car itself.

For Late chassis numbered Superformance® Cobras

Included are the correct length front and rear hoses, inner AN to brake line adapter couplers, frame clips, front and rear AN to Caliper fittings.

Once this conversion kit is installed, from this point on S.S. replacement hoses are just a fraction of the cost! Everything else is now part of the car itself.

There are many variations of the Superformance pre-650-ish chassis numbered Cobra Front Brakes, and identified by the inlet hose thread diameter listed below. There is only one type of rear caliper for the pre-650-ish chassis, and only one for the 651-ish and later cars
The first three (3) options are for the front, and then one (1) option for the rear for Early cars
The last (1) option is for both the front and rear for the Later cars
