These one of a kind Shock Protector™ Suspension Bump Stops are designed to protect the shock from damage in the event of unexpectedly bottoming out under full suspension compression. The most unique feature of these Shock Protectors™ is the ability ro install it in under 30 seconds, with the shock still on the vehicle and without the need to remove or disassemble anything!
The cushioning effect will dampen the impact at full compression and will withstand up to 400 pounds of compression force per shock. The Shock Protector™ has the ability to compress twice of it's normal height while taking up very little room of the shock's total travel range by only 3/4".
These unique Shock Protectors™ can also do double duty and serve as suspension travel indicators! Slide the tightly fitting Shock Protector™ Suspension Bump Stops down the shaft to the top of the shock body. The Shock Protector™ will rise up with the suspension and leave the bump stop at the highest travel of the shock indicating the maximum travel for you to determine the affect of different shock valve adjustment settings and coil spring changes.
Molded and machined from high quality Polyurethane, these little gems should last a lifetime. Perfect for street where the unexpected rough roads and pit holes can appear at any time without warning, or on the track where maximum suspension compression can occur in those high G-force turns, rumble strips on the corners and dips in the track.
We make two different models of our Shock Protector™. A Soft cushion version for up to 3,400 pound vehicles and/or occasional contact, which is the most popular and most effective for lightweight cars.
Our Firm cushion version is for over 3,400 pound vehicles and/or frequent contact, which is excellent for heavier vehicles, or those riding low in the shock's travel range.
